Hi! I am Natalie Roseman. I am a stay at home mom of 2 with a passion for sewing, clothes and creativity. I love making cute little dresses, outfits and appliques for my baby girl and little boy and wanted to share that love with everyone. I went to college and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and used my degree in the fashion world. Up until I decided to become a mommy and stay at home with my kids, I worked as an apparel buyer. Around the time I started my family, all of my friends were doing the same thing. I have always believed that the best gifts are from the heart and hand made. So I dusted off my sewing machine and started making blankets and burp cloths. When my son turned one I got a little braver and made my first romper. It turned out cute so I took a few classes and started venturing out by making boutique girls clothes. Soon my best friend was asking me why on earth she was buying all these cute things from everyone else and not me. So that started me on my way to creating The Sassy Pumpkin.
The Sassy Pumpkin opened in July of 2012 and it has been a whirlwind of learning and fun since then. I have taken a few sewing technique classes to brush up on my sewing skills and am looking forward to providing my customers with new and fresh designs each season. One of my favorite things about sewing is being able to create custom one of a kind outfits. I love the comments at the grocery store of “oh my goodness is that cute, where on earth did you get it.” And that is what I would LOVE to do for you!
